Madhubani is a traditional art form of India. It reflects Indian culture and traditions and comes from the state of Bihar (India). Madhubani is characterized by important village rituals and is depicted by striking geometrical shapes. Natural colors were made and handmade papers were used, artist depicted weddings, rituals, festivals, deities in this art form.
 
Now it has taken variation in canvas art, contemporary art style, fabric art, and much more. Taking this art form ahead and presenting it to the younger generation of today. Ankita Choudhary has a Diploma in fine arts from the National Institute of Fine Arts. She has been working in the field of arts for the past 10years. In her 10 years of working experience, she has had the opportunity to work as a member of the Art faculty at Sapphire International School.
 
She has had the opportunity to showcase her artwork through a solo show at the AIFACS, Rafi Marg, New Delhi, a show called "A walk with Krishna", 2016Group show, Epicentre, Gurgaon, "Expressions", 2014and many more.
 
Ankita Choudhary is an Artist by passion and mentor by heart. She has given hundreds of workshops and classes to numerous students and professionals. She has her art studio with the name Colorbarn.
